Itinerary for The Golden Triangle Circuit:

Delhi is the political capital of India. It is a mixture of colonial architecture at Connaught Place and to Mughal Architecture of Jama Masjid. The small lanes of Chandni Chowk for shopping to South Delhi’s sophisticated malls. It has historic buildings which are well maintained and the newly built tall buildings in Central Delhi and NCR. Day 1: Arrival in Delhi and check in at the hotel. After freshening up, start with the city tour. Visit Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb. Agra is famous for its Mughal architecture and has many places to wander around. Three of them are UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri. Day 3: Either hire a taxi or prefer a Train journey to save time. If you want to enjoy the journey of India’s fastest train (Vande Bharat); it surely is best suited for the route from Delhi to Agra. It only takes 1 hour and 36 minutes to reach. After reaching check-in at the hotel visit the famous symbol of love- Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Day 4: Early visit to Agra Fort and hire a taxi to Jaipur so that you can visit Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Check-in at the hotel of Jaipur late evening and relax for the day.

Jaipur is called the pink city of India or the Land of Kings. The city was ruled by Maharajas and Rajputs and thus the culture is quite royal there. You will find so many palaces and forts with wonderful architectural insights. Jaipur has the famous Kachoris, Ghewar and their traditional food is a little spicy. Day 5: Start your day with Nahargarh Fort from where you get the complete view of Jaipur city. Followed by City Palace and Jantar Mantar which is an astronomical park. At this time also, half of the City Palace is occupied by the current Maharaja family. After this, you can go to the famous Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar or Rawat Mishthan Bhandar for food. Hawa Mahal is also in the market only.

Day 6: After breakfast leave for another UNESCO World Heritage site which is Amer Fort. You can have an elephant or Camel ride here. On the way back from the fort, you may see Jal Mahal and get pictures clicked. If interested you can also go to Albert Hall Museum. In the evening, visit ChokiDhani: a place where Rajasthani culture is portrayed amazingly. Here, enjoy rides, a puppet show, mehndi, shopping, folk dance, pottery, palmistry and Rajasthani cuisine.

Day 7: Post breakfast go to Johari Bazaar for local handicrafts, silver jewelry, bangles, and traditional clothes. Proceed towards Delhi and then to your country or state. You can also check out the flights from Jaipur airport for your ease.
